The project is situated in the picturesque parish of São Mateus on Pico Island in the Azores. It involves the creation of a brand-new camping site, complemented by a dedicated support building designed to offer catering and sales services.

Taking into account the unique topography of the site, a deliberate decision was made to position the support building at a higher elevation. This strategic placement serves two primary purposes: firstly, it allows the facility to cater to the general public efficiently, and secondly, it offers campsite users the delightful opportunity to relish the surrounding spaces, complete with a rooftop bar and a refreshing swimming pool.

The glamping accommodation units are thoughtfully dispersed lower down on the terrain. This careful placement ensures that campers enjoy unobstructed, breathtaking views without the support building obstructing their sightlines.

The incorporation of vegetation is of paramount importance in this project. It acts as a natural organizer, guiding visitors along pathways while also establishing intimate and secluded spaces adjacent to the glamping tents. This thoughtful integration of greenery enhances the overall experience and aesthetics of the camping site.
